The rally of fascists in Gorizia

23.5.2015, Gorizia, Italy

Rally of neofascists from whole Italy in Gorizia at 100. anniversary of entry of Italy into the 1st World War organised by fascistic movement Casa Pound. All fascist groups brought soil from different parts of Italy to celebrate 1. WW. They marched in silence, but everyone who was present at rally could feel dim and creepy atmosphere.
After the end of 1. World War Italy litteraly enslaved, tortured and changed names of Slovenian people to Italian names in Primorska region. On July 13. 1920 Italian fascists burned down Slovenian National home in Trieste and about 21 different buildings, offices, apartments, banks, printing offices, warehouses and pubs. Interresting was that, that official government didn`t arrest none of raging demonstrants. After that fascists(from 1920 to 1941 killed almost 40 000 Slovenes in Primorska region. Italy even today denies genocide over Slovene population in Primorska region and tries to hide its role during 2. World War by silence about this part of history in their history books. That`s the main reason why in Italy young people again embrace fascits ideology.
